PARTS NEED ORDERING HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE ?
With
our on-line ordering most parts can be obtained in 24-48 hours.
99% of work is completed within 2 working days.
DO
YOU HAVE PROPERLY QUALIFIED STAFF ?
Yes!
Surprisingly
no qualifications are needed to set up as a Domestic Appliance repair
business. However, we will not send anyone to your house who has not
been formally trained by one of the major appliance manufacturers.
All Engineers carry a certificate of qualification.
DO
YOU COME OUT TO GIVE A FREE ESTIMATE ?
No.
Our
policy is to provide a quality service. We use only quality spare parts
and all manufacturer's safety standards are adhered to.
Tempting as they may sound "Low cost" and "Free Estimate" operators
can be a major risk to your appliances, and your pocket !
( .....Free lunch.....etc. )
Note
:
We consider that repairs costing
up to £50-£60 are economical to do. Newer appliances may be worth spending
more on.
If a machine is not economical to repair we will advise accordingly.
I
DON'T KNOW IF MY MACHINE IS WORTH REPAIRING SO I JUST WANT AN ESTIMATE.
We can diagnose
most faults over the phone with a brief description of the fault, as
most machines have common faults on them.
We can then give you an idea of the cost of repair, or an exact quote
if the fault is a common one.
This *DOES NOT*
mean that we give a free fault diagnosis service over the phone!
We will only quote a *price of repair*, and only for customers in the
*North East* where we work.
DO
YOU HAVE A CALL OUT CHARGE ?
We
know that you do not want to pay call out charges if your machine is
not repaired, but neither do we want to spend our time and money coming
to your house and not doing a repair. We don't like wasting money either!
We believe the fairest way to both our business and to our customers
is to work on a No
fix - No fee basis.
This means we will quote (not estimate) you an honest price for a repair,
as most faults are known to us, and if we then cannot repair your appliance
for up to or including the quoted price then no call charges will apply.
If for some reason we can't give
a quote (unusual fault etc.), but you would like us to inspect your
appliance with respect to a repair, then we charge a £5.00 call
out fee to cover costs.
However, this will be waived if the repair is subsequently carried out.
HOW
MUCH ARE YOUR CALL CHARGES ?
Our
standard charge for repairs is £25.00 plus VAT + parts.
We always advise our customers of the cost of repair before doing the
work.
WHAT
GUARANTEE WILL I GET WITH MY REPAIR ?
All parts fitted are high quality spares and are fully guaranteed for 12 months, parts and labour.
